He served in the national guard in Fort Ord, California, and was associated with Covenant Hospital, Lubbock Heart and Surgical Hospital, and the Burkhart Center for Autism. Dr. Lehman loved playing golf, and stories of his antics on the golf course were fondly retold among his fellow golfers. He was also known in his neighborhood as the cigar-smoking, leaf-blowing, lawnmower-riding DIY yard guy.

Remembering Dr. Michael Lehman

Dr. Lehman was a devoted husband to his wife, Evelyn, whom he met while completing his residency in Little Rock, Arkansas. They were married for 32 years and were a fixture in the Lubbock community. Dr. Lehman is survived by his wife Evelyn, his sisters Mickey Lehman Gross and Rene' Lehman, his niece Shana Lehman Fishman and her husband Jason, along with his great-nieces Madison and Mallory, whom he adored. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, patients, and colleagues.

Celebration of Life
